3D Systems (NYSE: DDD), a leading provider of 3D printing technology, has announced that rms Company, a leading contract manufacturer of medical devices, has added the DMP Flex 350 Dual to its production workflow.
The DMP Flex 350 Dual is the latest addition to 3D Systems' DMP portfolio. The dual-laser configuration offers flexibility and quick-swap build modules and a central server to manage print jobs, materials, settings, and maintenance for 24/7 productivity.
This addition will allow rms to expand the range of medical implants it produces and accelerate its production. 3D printing has the potential to revolutionize the medical device industry by providing efficient and high-quality production of medical implants, meeting growing demand and improving patient outcomes.
3D Systems has been working with rms for the past four years to expand its portfolio of Direct Metal Printers (DMP) from one machine to more than 30. This has enabled rms to establish a reputation for additively manufacturing high-quality titanium implants.
