Zeekr (NYSE: ZK), a premium electric vehicle manufacturer, and Mobileye (NASDAQ: MBLY), a leader in autonomous driving solutions, are deepening their collaboration to localize technology in China and integrate Mobileye tech into new Zeekr models.
Zeekr will use Mobileye's road intelligence technology across its new vehicle lineup, enabling efficient data validation and software updates. This partnership will also accelerate the rollout of automated driving solutions for other Mobileye customers in China.
Together, the two companies will adapt Mobileye's Driving Experience Platform (DXP) for the local market, allowing automakers to customize for different driving styles.
Since late 2021, Zeekr has delivered over 240,000 vehicles powered by Mobileye's SuperVision platform in China and worldwide. To meet growing demand, they will accelerate the deployment of core technologies for the SuperVision platform.
Amnon Shashua, Mobileye’s president and chief executive officer stated: “This new chapter in the Mobileye and Zeekr relationship will bolster Mobileye’s efforts toward the localization of its SuperVision technologies in China.”
