Workhorse ($WKHS) Announces First Zero Emission Commercial Drone Purchased for Last Mile Delivery

Workhorse (NASDAQ: WKHS), an American technology company specializing in zero-emission transport, has announced its first purchase orders for HorseFly™ commercial drones. 

HorseFly, an all-electric, multipurpose drone, promises safe, precise, and reliable last-mile delivery, with a payload capacity of up to 10 pounds and a 45-minute flight time. This achievement underscores the increasing adoption of commercial drones and their potential to revolutionize logistics, aligning with Workhorse Group's commitment to sustainability and innovation in transportation. 

Rick Dauch, Workhorse CEO stated: “We have made significant progress developing and commercializing our package delivery drones, and we are pleased our customers recognize HorseFly’s market-leading specifications and capabilities.”

John Graber, President of Workhorse’s Aero organization added: “Our Aero team started down this road over five years ago – to create a safe, reliable, small UAS that can scale.”
