Luminar Technologies (NASDAQ: LAZR), a leading automotive technology company, has announced a collaboration with electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar Automotive (NASDAQ: PSNY) and autonomous technology company Mobileye (NASDAQ: MBLY).

The new collaboration will aim to boost autonomous driving capabilities in the Polestar 4 electric vehicle. Introduced in August, the Polestar 4 will be the first production vehicle to combine Mobileye’s Chauffeur driver-assistance platform with Luminar’s LiDAR technology.

This collaboration further extends the existing relationship between Luminar and Mobileye and expands on the partnership announced between Luminar and Polestar earlier this year.
