NFI Group (OTCMKTS: NFYEF), a leader in electric mass mobility solutions, has been awarded a new contract by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada for zero-emission vehicles.
The contract includes an initial order for seven hydrogen fuel cell-electric Xcelsior CHARGE FC 60-foot heavy-duty transit buses, with an option to purchase up to 100 additional buses.
The Xcelsior CHARGE FC incorporates advanced technology, including a lighter and more efficient fuel cell power module, recyclable high-power batteries, and a redesigned waterproof battery enclosure. The buses will operate on RTC's Maryland Parkway, a 13-mile bus rapid transit route aimed at expanding bus service and reducing air pollution.
