GreenPower Motor (NASDAQ: GP), a leading provider of all-electric busses and cargo vehicles, recently reported record-breaking deliveries in Q2 of fiscal 2024. GreenPower supplied a remarkable 16 electric school buses, including 13 BEAST school buses and three Nano BEAST award-winners.
This achievement comes amid a growing trend in states mandating the transition to electric school buses and offering financial incentives. California recently joined Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, and New York in requiring zero-emission school buses by 2035, allocating up to $5 billion in funding.
In addition to the school buses, GreenPower also delivered 14 commercial electric vehicles, including 12 EV Star passenger vehicles, and one EV Star Cargo, with more than 50 EV Star Cab and Chassis vehicles ready for delivery.
