Green Stock News for June 25th, 2025: IonQ, Nextracker, MARA Holdings, QuantumScape

Welcome to the Green Stock News brief for Wednesday June 25th. Here are today’s top headlines:

IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) has achieved the first known quantum computer simulation of double-beta decay, a rare nuclear process that could help explain the universe’s imbalance between matter and antimatter. Using its Forte Enterprise system, IonQ demonstrated real-time lepton-number violation, opening new possibilities for quantum modeling of fundamental physics beyond the capabilities of classical computers.

Nextracker’s (NASDAQ: NXT) NX Horizon solar trackers are being deployed in the 550 MW solar park in Greece, one of Europe’s largest solar projects, built on a former coal mine and expected to supply nearly 2% of the nation’s electricity annually. The project marks a major step toward Greece’s updated goal of 82% renewable electricity by 2030, contributing to Europe’s broader push for energy independence and carbon neutrality.

MARA Holdings (NASDAQ: MARA) and TAE Power Solutions have formed a strategic partnership to develop a modular, microsecond-responsive energy management system capable of scaling gigawatt levels, aimed at supporting hyperscale data centers and other power-intensive operations. The system uses advanced hardware and machine learning to deliver precise, real-time load balancing and grid stability through a 10MW clean energy storage network.

QuantumScape (NYSE: QS) has integrated its next-generation Cobra separator process into baseline cell production, marking a major milestone in scaling its solid-state lithium-metal battery manufacturing. Replacing the earlier Raptor process, Cobra enables ~25x faster heat treatment, greater energy efficiency, and a smaller equipment footprint—key improvements that support higher-volume B1 sample production and future scalability.
