Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG) has installed a 5MW GenEco electrolyzer at Namibia’s Walvis Bay project, Africa’s first fully integrated commercial green hydrogen facility. Powered by on-site solar and battery storage, the project produces off-grid renewable hydrogen to support hydrogen-powered transport, port operations, and Africa’s development as a regional hydrogen hub.

Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) is partnering with Metropolis Technologies to develop 25 vertiports across the U.S., leveraging Metropolis’ nationwide parking footprint and AI-based computer vision technology. The sites will be strategically selected from Metropolis’ 4,200+ locations to support early electric air taxi markets using a mix of new and existing facilities.

PowerBank (NASDAQ: SUUN) has brought a 1.45 MW DC rooftop solar project in Calgary to commercial operation for Fiera Real Estate, selling power under Alberta’s Small Scale Generation program and generating carbon offsets through the TIER system. The project supports Fiera’s net-zero-by-2040 goals and marks PowerBank’s first operational asset and small-scale generation debut in Alberta’s electric system.
