Ford Pro, a commercial division of Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), has unveiled new charging hardware to facilitate the transition of commercial fleets to electric vehicles (EVs). The introduction includes the Series 2 AC Charging Station 80 amp and expanded options for DC Fast Chargers, tailored for commercial vehicles and enriched with innovative features. These charging solutions seamlessly integrate with Ford Pro's charging management software, presenting a unified system for both Ford and non-Ford EVs.
The Company is also introducing upgraded DC Fast Charger options in 180kW and 240kW variants, enhancing workplace versatility and charging efficiency. These new chargers, with improved cable retractors and a sleek design, are available for pre-order.
The integration of Ford Pro Chargers with their intelligent charging software ensures timely vehicle charging, aiding fleet managers in optimizing charging schedules and locations.
