Eve Holding (NYSE: EVEX) has signed a Letter of Intent with FlyBIS Aviation Limited, an advanced air mobility start-up based in Brazil, to collaborate on the development of eVTOL operations throughout South America. FlyBIS says that it plans to purchase up to 40 eVTOL aircrafts from Eve Holding.
After commencing operations in Brazil, FlyBIS says that it plans to expand into neighboring countries and contribute to the implementation and development of Eve's air mobility ecosystem.
Andre Stein, Co-CEO of Eve stated: "This new collaboration with FlyBIS will enable us to expand the future of air mobility to Southern areas of Brazil and other South American countries. This region has several high-traffic tourist areas that will benefit from eVTOL operations, reinforcing our commitment to fostering the urban air mobility market in different regions around the world."
