enCore Energy. (NYSE: EU), a leading US uranium producer, has successfully started uranium production at the South Texas Rosita ISR Uranium Central Processing Plant . This marks the initial phase of enCore's production strategy in South Texas using the In-Situ Recovery process.

The Rosita CPP, situated around 60 miles from Corpus Christi, Texas, is now fully operational. The company is expecting the first shipment of uranium, known as yellowcake, within the next 45 to 60 days. This facility, wholly owned by enCore, has a yearly capacity of 800,000 pounds of Triuranium octoxide and can potentially expand within its current license.

enCore is focusing on developing the Rosita Wellfield and nearby areas within its licensed boundaries, aiming for swift uranium production as this region wasn't previously utilized for this purpose. The company has initiated oxygen injection into wellfield patterns, detecting trace uranium within 72 hours
