EHang (NASDAQ: EH) has successfully completed the first-ever passenger-carrying autonomous flight demonstration in Japan with its EH216 passenger-grade autonomous aerial vehicle. 

The EH216 flew with two passengers onboard and no pilot over the coastline of Tanoura Beach in Oita city, marking a breakthrough in exploring the potential use cases for urban air mobility in Japan. 

This achievement highlights EHang's innovative technological prowess and showcases the immense potential of autonomous eVTOL aircraft in transforming the way we travel and commute.
