EHang (NASDAQ: EH), an emerging eVTOL manufacturer, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Xishan Tourism to develop the low-altitude ecosystem in China. Xishan ordered 50 of Ehang’s pilotless electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, and plans to purchase an additional 450 units over the next two years for aerial tourism and passenger transportation.
EHang and Xishan Tourism will initially set up EH216-S sightseeing centers in the Xishan Mountain and Fenhe River scenic areas, with plans to expand across North China.
By combining EHang’s leading advantages and expertise in the low-altitude economy sector with Xishan Tourism’s rich cultural and tourism resources, the collaboration aims to establish the largest eVTOL UAM operation base in North China.
