EHang ($EH) Advances UAM Solutions in Brazil with First EH216-S Pilotless eVTOL Aircraft Test Flight

EHang (Nasdaq: EH), a global leader in Urban Air Mobility technology, has announced a significant achievement with the first successful flight of its pilotless eVTOL aircraft in Brazil.

Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) recently issued an Experimental Flight Authorization (CAVE) for EHang's EH216-S, allowing trial operations. EHang is conducting tests in collaboration with ANAC and the Brazilian Airspace Control Department (DECEA) to develop safe and efficient UAM systems in Brazil.

Ms. Victoria Xiang, Chief Operating Officer of EHang Europe and Latin America stated: “The ongoing test and trial flight campaigns for the EH216-S in Brazil will allow us to accrue a vast amount of data, information, and operational experience which in turn, will pave the way for developing safe, efficient, eco-friendly and accessible Urban Air Mobility for everyone across Brazil and Latin America.”
