Cognex ($CGNX) Unveils New Data-Driven 380 Modular Vision Tunnel with a Greater Than 99% Read Rate

27 March 2024

Cognex (NASDAQ: CGNX), a leading provider of industrial machine vision solutions, has unveiled the 380 Modular Vision Tunnel, an innovative addition to its Modular Vision Tunnel lineup.

Featuring Cognex's widest field of view barcode reader, the DataMan 380, the 380 Modular Vision Tunnel provides a versatile solution customizable to meet specific customer requirements, with scalability built in. Engineered to optimize space usage, increase depth of field, and accurately read even the smallest codes, this tunnel achieves a greater than 99% read rate with as few as four readers per tunnel.

Moreover, the 380 Modular Vision Tunnel is complemented by Cognex's Edge Intelligence Tunnel Manager, delivering real-time data and performance analytics. This empowers customers to gather, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple devices concurrently, facilitating insights into tunnel performance, vendor compliance, and other crucial metrics.

Carl Gerst, Executive Vice President of Vision and ID Products stated: "The speed, power, and AI-assisted decoding of the DataMan 380 ensure that scanning applications are as efficient and accurate as possible.”

Cognex invents and commercializes technologies that address some of the most critical manufacturing and distribution challenges.

Shares of Cognex trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol CGNX.
