Blade Air Mobility (NASDAQ: BLDE) and BETA Technologies announced the successful completion of the test flight of BETA’s ALIA-250 EVA at the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York.
The ALIA-250 is an all-electric aircraft with a noise profile that is 1/10th that of a conventional helicopter, making it perfect for urban areas. Blade has committed to purchasing up to 20 of these aircraft and deploying them on routes between its dedicated terminals in the US.
