LithiumBank Resources is pleased to announce that the company's shares will commence trading at market open TODAY at 9:30am EST. The company will trade under the symbol LBNK on the TSXV. LithiumBank Resources Corp. is an exploration and development company focused on direct brine lithium resources in Western Canada. LithiumBank has over 3.15 million acres of potential Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) amenable assets.
The company's flagship Sturgeon Lake project is located in West Central Alberta 270 km northwest of Edmonton. The project comprises of 28 Alberta Metallic and Industrial Mineral Permits that collectively form a contiguous package of land that totals 761,601 acres of a highly prospective target for DLE.
Apex Geosciences Ltd. was hired in Q2/21 to produce an NI 43-101 inferred mineral resource technical report for Sturgeon Lake (entitled "Inferred Resource Estimate On Lithiumbank Resources Corp.’s Sturgeon Lake Lithium-Brine Property In West-Central Alberta, Canada prepared by D. Roy Eccles M.Sc., P. Geol. of APEX Geoscience Ltd., Jim Touw B.Sc. P. Geol. of Hydrogeological Consultants Ltd. and Charles Edwards, P.Eng. of Chuck Edwards Extractive Metallurgy Consulting" and dated June 17, 2021) (the "Technical Report").
"The company received a Technical Report inferring a 5.97M tonne/LCE inferred mineral resource at an avg grade of 67.1mg/L making it one of the largest known contiguous potentially carbon neutral inferred lithium brine resources in North America."
"Hatch engineering was contracted in H2/21 to produce a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for Sturgeon Lake by mid 2022. We are very excited to see the results of this assessment and expect it may showcase the potential enormity of the value proposition that Sturgeon Lake represents."
- Rob Shewchuk, CEO, Lithium Bank
LithiumBank is currently working on a number of paths to increase the inferred mineral resource size of Sturgeon Lake. This has the potential to be accomplished in a number of ways including:
The Company won multiple rounds of auctions in Saskatchewan in H2 2021 totalling 326,000 acres. Lithium Bank's Saskatchewan strategy is focused on 3 key areas of the province we hope will be prospective for identifying lithium mineral resources. LithiumBank is currently putting together an exploration strategy for the Saskatchewan assets and will be providing more details on that strategy in Q2 with an aim to producing a NI 43-101 inferred mineral resource technical report on one or more of Saskatchewan assets in Q4 2022.
About LithiumBank Resources Corp.
LithiumBank is creating an opportunity to participate in the future of clean-tech energy. The Company's strategy is to acquire claims in known lithium high grade hot spots with existing wells and infrastructure. Over 500 wells exist on LithiumBank's existing claims which could be leveraged to quickly and cost effectively establish large-scale lithium resources. Billions of dollars have been spent to date by O&G companies on the area infrastructure (roads, rail, pipelines, power) with potential to be repurposed for lithium production. LithiumBank's claims are positioned in reservoirs that provide a unique combination of scale, grade and exceptional flow rates that are necessary for direct brine lithium production.
